RØRY enters a new era with vengeful new single ‘DEGRADATION’

Author Benedetta Baldin - 29.8.2025

The new era of RØRY has arrived. Today, the critically-acclaimed alternative artist has returned with a menacing new single, ‘DEGRADATION‘, accompanied by a brooding and blood-drenched music video. Listen to the new single here and watch the music video here.

Following the huge success of her Top 10 UK debut album “RESTORATION”, a completely sold out headline tour and a Heavy Music Award win for Best UK Breakthrough Artist, ‘DEGRADATION‘ doesn’t just open a door into a new era of RØRY; it kicks the door completely off its hinges. This is a far darker picture, soundtracked by a heavier tone and woven into the same authenticity that has drawn so many people towards her music.

Speaking on the message behind the new single, RØRY shares:

‘DEGRADATION’ is me choosing truth over silence. It’s the sound of everything I swallowed down for years finally tearing its way out. This song is rage, grief, and liberation all at once… the moment you stop protecting the people who broke you, and start telling the story as it really was.

RØRY‘s music serves as a form of therapy for her fans and it provides the same service for her, too. Anger and rage are new emotions for her and learning how to harness them has opened up an exciting, new and shadowy world to explore. ‘DEGRADATION‘ is just the beginning of the evolution. Keep your eyes peeled for more news in the coming months.

In a few short months, RØRY will be heading back out on the road for ‘The Blossom Tour’, taking her all over the UK and into Germany for her first ever headline shows in mainland Europe. Known for her cathartic, therapeutic and heartwarming performances, she effortlessly creates an inimitable unifying energy that transforms every show into something truly special. If you’ve yet to experience a RØRY show, you’d better act quick – there are limited tickets remaining, which can be found here.
