Reunited classic Blink-182 lineup turned Coachella into “The Rock Show”

American pop-punk legends Blink-182 have performed live for the first time since they reunited with Tom DeLonge, giving a 50-minute outstanding set of classic pop-punk hits at Coachella 2023. You can take a look at some footage from the gig below.

The group’s appearance at the festival came as a last-minute addition, announced by DeLonge on April 13. They were initially scheduled to debut their reunited line-up last month, but the first leg of their comeback tour – covering South America and Mexico – was postponed after drummer Travis Barker suffered repeated injuries to a finger.

Bassist Mark Hoppus said “Hello, we’re Blink-182, and there’s Tom!” pointing over to frontman Tom DeLonge, who rejoined the band in October. Their set, the first with DeLonge in nine years, began with “Family Reunion“. DeLonge, Hoppus, and Barker continued with “Anthem Part II“, “The Rock Show” and more.

Amid the classic tunes came the live debut of the trio’s recent single “Edging” – which is expected to appear on their upcoming ninth album – as well as the first performance of “Aliens Exist” to feature Tom since 2001.
