Danish alternative metal act Raunchy has dropped lead single “Designed Despair” from their comeback album “Prisoner”. The new album also marks a return to their original label Mighty Music, which released their debut “Velvet Noise” back in 2001.
“Prisoner” arrives this summer as the band’s first studio album since 2014’s “Vices.Virtues.Visions”. Jacob Hansen produced the record at Hansen Studios. He previously worked with Raunchy on “Velvet Noise” and “Confusion Bay”, so his return for the seventh album is a natural full-circle moment.
The current lineup features Mike Semesky and Jeppe Christensen on vocals, with Jesper Andreas Tilsted on guitars and keys. Lars Christensen handles guitars, Jesper Kvist plays bass, and Morten Toft Hansen sits behind the drums. More details on upcoming singles, videos, and touring are on the way.
