Nirvana’s last studio release “In Utero” will celebrate its 30th anniversary and Geffen/UMe is commemorating that mark with several multi-format reissues, amounting to a total of 72 tracks, among which are 53 previously unreleased tracks.
The unreleased material include two complete “In Utero”-age concerts, and two tracks from those live shows can now be streamed online.
“Pennyroyal Tea” was part of the performance at the Great Western Forum on December 30, 1993, in Los Angeles; and “Scentless Apprentice” was played at the band’s last ever Seattle show, on January 7, 1994 at the Seattle Center Arena.
