Porno For Pyros announces farewell tour, new EP in 2024
US alternative rock band Porno For Pyros has announced dates for their “Horns, Thorns, En Halos” farewell tour kicking off in February 2024.
The Live Nation 16-city trek kicks off on February 13 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California, making stops across North America in Los Angeles, California; Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; Toronto, Ontario; Boston, Massachusetts; New York and more before concluding in Montclair, New Jersey at The Wellmont Theater on March 10.
The group has also revealed the release of their first new song in 26 years. Entitled “Agua“, the track will be released on November 16.
“Our new single, an ode to the sea and all its beautiful creatures,” the band wrote in a post teasing the track on Instagram.
Inspired by dolphin encounters the group members had while surfing in the 1990s, “Aqua” will appear on Porno For Pyros‘ forthcoming EP, which is due out in February 2024.
Tickets for the tour will be available through pre-sale starting at 12N local time today (Nov. 15) with the general public on-sale starting this Friday (Nov. 17) at 10 AM local time through Live Nation.
