Poppy releases “Hand In My Pocket” (Alanis Morissette cover)

Poppy‘s rendition of “Hand in My Pocket” by Alanis Morissette was recently posted online, as per theprp. This performance is a part of an homage to Morissette‘s 1995 album “Jagged Little Pill,” which has received 17 platinum certifications. “Jagged Little Pill” is a major story aspect for an aspiring music journalist in the Sumerian Pictures film “Mile End Kicks,” which is currently available online. That tribute is the soundtrack to the movie. Sumerian Records has been releasing renditions of songs from “Jagged Little Pill” in the run-up to and after that movie, including the catchy metalcore band Gore.‘s performance of “You Learn.” Avril Lavgine, Charlotte Sands, Lights, The Haunt, Taylor Acorn, and Bailey Spinn are among the other artists who contributed Alanis covers to that soundtrack.
