Planeetta 9 drops new song “The Dead Only Remember”
Finnish doom-rock band Planeetta 9 has released a new song called “Kuolleet vain muistaa“. The song is part of the band’s upcoming studio album and you can listen to it below.
“The lyrics of the single “Kuolleet vain muistaa” were born in the concrete situation the song is about. The thorns of a spiked mat from a former life partner were pressing into my spine as I was going through the end of the relationship and the difficulty of letting go of it. After the session, the spiked carpet was thrown away, as was this recurring theme of the song. Mission accomplished,” the band’s frontman comments on the song.
The Helsinki-Hämeenlinna-based group is currently working on their first full-length album, which will be released in collaboration with Rolling Records in late 2023.
