Placebo cancel two shows, due to Covid infections

While festival life is currently flourishing in many places, reports keep reminding us that the corona pandemic is not over yet. The most recent report of an infection comes from Placebo. Mentioning “an outbreak of COVID within the Placebo band and crew”, Placebo are forced to cancel tonight’s show at “Romexpo” in Romania’s capital Bucharest as well as their performance at “Skopje Calling” in North Macedonia’s capital Skopje on Saturday (16 July 2022):

“We are frustrated and disappointed to not be able to perform these shows which are important to us – as we know they are to you. We apologise sincerely for the inconvenience and disappointment. We are doing all we can to reschedule and please check locally for further announcements. Please stay safe out there.”
