On November 28, the festival’s archival channel posted professionally shot video of Evanescence‘s 2007 performance at the “Pinkpop” festival in Landgraaf, NET. As reported by theprp, the diamond-certified alternative metal band performed a 15-song set list at that May 28, 2007 show. The band had previously performed at the festival in 2003, therefore that was their second appearance there to date. In August, the Pinkpop Archive channel released pro-shot footage of that set.
Amy Lee, a singer and pianist, and Ben Moody, a guitarist, created the American rock group Evanescence in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1995. The band recorded indie albums before releasing “Fallen”, their debut full-length album, on Wind-up Records in 2003. “Fallen” sold over 17 million copies worldwide and helped the band win two Grammy Awards out of six nominations because to the success of their smash singles “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal.” “Anywhere but Home”, Evanescence‘s debut live album, was released a year later and sold over a million copies worldwide. “The Open Door”, the band’s second studio album, was released in 2006 and sold over five million copies.
With a new lineup, the band got back together in June 2009, and their next studio album, “Evanescence”, came out in 2011. With 127,000 copies sold, it debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. In addition, the album made its debut at the top of four more Billboard charts: the Rock Albums, Digital Albums, Alternative Albums, and Hard Rock Albums charts. Along with other bands including The Pretty Reckless and Fair to Midland, the band toured throughout 2012 to promote their most recent record. During this period, Troy McLawhorn also joined the band full-time. The band took another break after the album’s tour cycle ended in 2012.
