Pierce The Veil launch Hot Topic Live with intimate three-song performance

Pierce The Veil have launched Hot Topic’s new performance series, Hot Topic Live, with a three-song set recorded inside the retailer’s flagship store in Hollywood, California. The session is available online as the first instalment of a project intended to put alternative artists in a more intimate setting.

The band performed “So Far, So Fake”, “Bulls In The Bronx” and “Pass The Nirvana”. Rather than a conventional concert venue, the performance was filmed in a purpose-built studio inside the shop, with a wall of band shirts forming part of the setting.

Singer and guitarist Vic Fuentes welcomed the opportunity, noting the band’s longstanding connection to Hot Topic. He said the musicians enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the session and the chance to present their songs in a different way to fans watching from home.

Hot Topic says the series will combine original live performances with additional artist-focused content, potentially including brief interviews and discussions about music culture. Full sessions will be shared through the retailer’s YouTube channel, while short clips are distributed across social platforms.

Pierce The Veil‘s appearance serves as the opening episode, and additional participating artists are expected to be announced by the retailer. The group previously released the single “Kiss Me Now”, continuing a period of activity following the success of “The Jaws Of Life”.

The full performance can be viewed directly on YouTube.
