San Diego death metal veterans Pathology are wrapping up work on their thirteenth studio album. The band confirmed that recording is almost complete and said they are now refining every track to perfection.
They explained that the new record marks a big step forward in both sound and aggression. According to the band, fans of their 2012 release “The Time of Great Purification” will be especially satisfied.
Formed in 2006, Pathology built their reputation through crushing riffs, heavy grooves, and relentless vocals. Their most recent album “Unholy Descent” came out in 2024 through Agonia Records and captured their brutal precision with a sharper edge.
The group promised more details soon, including artwork, tracklist, and release plans. Until then, the band are preparing to unleash one of their heaviest records yet.
