Paradise Slaves release the first single “A Fever To Defeat”

Author Benedetta Baldin - 31.10.2024

The lyric video for Paradise Slaves‘ first single, “A Fever To Defeat,” has been released. They are headlined by guitarist Tyler Stroetzel, former 36 Crazyfists singer Brock Lindow, and Diecast veterans Brad Horion on bass and Jon Kita on guitar. The roster is completed by drummer Ryan Manning (Pentagram, Blitzkid). Joel Stroetzel, guitarist for the multi-platinum metalcore band Killswitch Engage, is Stroetzel’s brother. The beginning of this group was a text message that Joel sent to Brock on Tyler’s behalf. They went into Tin Bridge Studios to record their debut album for Spinefarm Records as the band came together. More information is still pending, but a 2025 release is anticipated.

This band is something I didn’t expect. After it fell in my lap, I was making new music with new people and we became brothers, and for that, I’m so grateful. When you get a gift like this, you need to put your best foot forward and have some fire. I definitely still have the same fire and love for making music I always had and it manifests in Paradise Slaves. “A Fever to Defeat” is specifically about COVID. It was written at the height of the pandemic. Brock Lindow
