Originality isn’t a crime: a rapper’s merchandise resembles death metal band logos

Although imitation is the purest form of flattery, it certainly isn’t funny when people rip off of other artists’ art. The new album “More Chaos” by rapper Ken Carson was just published. The slogan “More Chaos” is written exactly in the Morbid Angel insignia on Carson’s billboard, although it wouldn’t be a problem in and of itself. One shirt is a ripoff of Horna‘s emblem, while the “More Chaos” box set and shirts include variations on the Morbid Angel insignia. There are countless graphic artists that can make original and well-thought logos, why copy from someone else’s?
