Oh girlfriend, that’s the end – Weezer spouse booked on attempted murder

Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s wife, Jullian Lauren, was shot by police after a confrontation in Los Angeles and is currently being charged with attempted murder. Officers from the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Police Department were looking for suspects in a hit-and-run collision that happened on April 8 when the incident started. Three people ran from the scene, one of them toward a residential neighborhood. Officers found Lauren in the yard of her and Shriner’s house while conducting the search. Despite officers’ repeated pleas, Lauren refused to drop the gun she was carrying when she came out of the house. She once pointed the gun at an officer, which led to her being shot in the shoulder by police. She ran back into her house and resisted for thirty minutes before giving up. Before being charged with attempted murder, she received medical attention for her non-life-threatening injuries. The other two suspects in the hit-and-run are still at large, but the one who led police to Lauren’s yard was taken into custody.
