A video showing Housecore musicians of Nest, Scour, and Spirit In The Room valiantly navigating the Housecore Home Haunt of 2025 Halloween night has been posted on the YouTube account of Housecore Records, the musical company founded in 2001 by Pantera vocalist Philip Anselmo. View the video below, which Metal Dave Media captured and edited, as reported by blabbermouth.net. Due to Anselmo’s extensive touring and the construction of the official Housecore Home Haunt, a smaller-scale haunt was developed this year. Anselmo has spent the last five years building a spooky house for friends and family, according to Housecore.

Anselmo is a huge horror fan. In 2013, he teamed up with internationally famous, best-selling true crime author Corey Mitchell (“Hollywood Death Scenes”, “Dead And Buried”) to create the Housecore Horror Film & Music Festival, a three-day underground horror and heavy metal fan event that featured live performances by some of the biggest metal and hard rock bands, screenings of horror, true crime, and heavy metal films, music videos, and more, as well as special guest appearances from some of the most esteemed underground directors of horror.
