“Nostalgia goes with hope for the good future pretty well” – Interview with Yellowcard’s Ryan Mendesz

Author Julia Suloinen - 2.10.2025

Sometimes they say goodbye just to come back stronger than ever – it all is about the pop-punk legends Yellowcard, who broke up almost 10 years ago, yet on the 10th of October they triumphantly come back with the new album ‘Better Days” that’s gonna be released via Better Noise Music. The few released singles from this album show that the album is a perfect blend of ardour of youth with elder wisdom.

Chaoszine sat with Ryan Mendez of Yellowcard and chatted about finding their way back to the studio, Travis Barker’s influence, nostalgia as the leitmotive of the 00’s pop-punk bands`songs, collaboration with Disney and other cool stuff.
