A few years ago, US rock giants Mötley Crue broke their promise to not return to the stages. The band is touring across the world again. Now, in a recent interview with Brazil’s A Radio Rock radio station, the band’s bassist Nikki Sixx reveals that the group’s return tour will not be their last.
“Me, Tommy and Vince had one conversation. I said: ‘What are you going to do for the next eight years?’ And everybody laughed: ‘I don’t know.’ I said: ‘Why don’t we just keep going? Let’s go on with our 50th anniversary [the band turns 50 in 2031],” Sixx says, continuing: “This won’t be our last tour. What would it look like? I have no idea. All I’m saying is that the whole band is saying, ‘We’re having a great time. Why should we stop now?”.
