Nightwish drummer Kai Hahto gifted a signed drum head from Human :II: Nature tour to be displayed at Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain’s Rock N Roll Ribs restaurant

Chaoszine crew will be attending the world’s biggest heavy metal cruise 70 000 Tons of Metal this week and there will be bunch of interviews and a video recap coming from our trip from cold Helsinki to warm Miami.

Before the cruise Chaoszine had a very special mission: to bring Nightwish drummer Kai Hahto’s signed Human :II: Nature. tour bass drum head to Iron Maiden legend Nicko McBrain’s Rock N’ Roll Ribs restaurant at Coconut Creek in Florida. We delivered the drum head safely into Nicko’s hands (Special thanks to Finnair’s baggage drop lady for the help and allowing us to bring the bass drum head to the plane!) which will join the restaurant’s impressive collection of music memorabilia, a personalized Vaasan Sport ice hockey jersey bearing McBrain’s name, Hahto’s signature drumsticks, and a pair of Valco’s noise-canceling headphones.

We also sat down with McBrain for a short interview discussing the hard decision of retiring from Iron Maiden‘s drum throne after 42 years and what lies ahead for the metal legend. You can check out the video of us presenting the items to Nicko below:
