The red carpet premiere date for the fully approved Nick Menza documentary “This Was My Life: Nick Menza’s Metal Memories With Megadeth And Beyond” has been rescheduled by Screaming Butterfly Entertainment, in collaboration with Ellefson Films and BayView Entertainment. The Laemmle Royal theater, situated at 11523 Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, will host the event on Thursday, April 10. A Q&A session will follow the film’s screening, and members of the cast and crew will be present. The film “This Was My Life” was supposed to debut in February, however the recent destructive wildfires in Los Angeles caused the screening to be rescheduled. The movie’s worldwide distribution is being handled by BayView Entertainment.
We are thrilled to work with Nick Menza’s estate, and with Dave Ellefson, Jeff Young and other former MEGADETH members as well as other legendary metal figures to bring this release to worldwide audiences. It is an honor to celebrate Nick’s legacy and help to carry it forward. BayView Entertainment VP of acquisitions Peter Castro
