Neil Young tells Spotify to remove his music – doesn’t want to be on the same platform as Joe Rogan’s podcast: “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”

Veteran musician Neil Young is demanding that his music be removed from Spotify. The reason for Young’s decision, according to the singer himself, is that he does not want to be part of a platform that allows the spread of “false vaccination information”.

Young is referring to the hugely popular The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, whose host Joe Rogan has recently come under criticism for his anti-vaccine views on his podcast.

“I am doing this because Spotify is spreading fake information about vaccines – potentially causing death to those who believe the disinformation being spread by them”, Young tells to Rolling Stone.

“I want you to let Spotify know immediately today that I want all my music off their platform. They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”

Young had already removed his catalog from Spotify in 2015 in protest at the poor sound quality of the songs on the platform, but returned his music to the streaming service in 2016.
