Napalm Death enter the studio to work on new material

Napalm Death’s bassist Shane Embury and touring guitarist John Cooke have commenced recording demos at Parlour Studios in Kettering, U.K., under the supervision of veteran producer Russ Russell, known for his work with bands such as Dimmu Borgir, At The Gates, and Amorphis. On January 11, Embury posted an Instagram photograph featuring himself, Cooke, and Russell at Parlour Studios, accompanied by a brief message, as per Blabbermouth.

In February 2022, the band released a mini-album titled “Resentment Is Always Seismic – A Final Throw Of Throes” through Century Media Records. This release served as a complementary recording to “Throes Of Joy In The Jaws Of Defeatism,” emphasizing intense grindcore and immersive ambient soundscapes.

The mini-album comprises eight tracks with a total duration of 29 minutes and was made available in limited-edition formats, including CD digipak, vinyl, and digital download.
