Nailbomb to perform for the first time since 1995 next November at the Max Cavalera Dynasty Show

Author Benedetta Baldin - 15.8.2024

The Max Cavalera Dynasty Show is scheduled to take place at Tempe, AZ’s Marquee Theatre on November 9, but we must definitely talk about one of the bands in the bill: Nailbomb. Originally, Nailbomb was Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel and Max Cavalera (Soulfly, former Sepultura, etc.). After two performances in 1995 and the 1994 release of “Point Blank”, the band disbanded. Since then, Cavalera and Soulfly have played live versions of Nailbomb songs, but Nailbomb has never officially returned until November 9. Nailbomb today consists of guitarists Max and Igor Cavalera, bassist Johny Chow (Stone Sour, Fireball Ministry, Cavalera Conspiracy), guitarist Travis Stone of Pig Destroyer, sampler Alex Cha, and drummer Adam Jarvis (Misery Index, Pig Destroyer). There’s no news on Nailbomb‘s intended level of activity.

I’m looking forward to playing with Soulfly on the Lamb of God Headbangers Boat, going to the Dominican Republic and back. We will be crossing the Southern most moshpits of America to reach the cruise! The tour wraps with the Dynasty show. Super excited to present the Max Cavalera Dynasty Show in our hometown! This is a family steeped in the legacy of Metal! Making this night unforgettable will be the special rare appearance of Nailbomb! Maybe in the future, I’ll even be able to bring this package to the tribe and other parts of the world! Max Cavalera
