Myrkur to play three shows in December in Finland

Author Arto Mäenpää - 1.6.2021

Danish black metal band Myrkur is touring in December in Finland in support of its ”Folkesange” album. “Folkesange” was released last year. Myrkur will be performing December 15 at Logomo in Turku and the following days at Tampere-talo in Tampere, and Savoy-teatteri in Helsinki.

Amalie Bruun, known professionally as Myrkur, has based her versatile musical career on Scandinavian folk music as well as black metal. Throughout her career Myrkur has released black metal albums, performed at metal festivals with a metal band, and, yet, interpreted gentle folk songs with traditional instruments at the finest concert halls. Upcoming shows are in support of Myrkur’s ”Folkesange” album, which features traditional Scandinavian folk songs as well as original compositions performed with an array of traditional instruments.

Myrkur ellaborates upcoming shows:

‘I am so excited to come back to Finland finally! I am bringing my band and we will perform ‘Folkesange’ from start to finish + some extra surprises’

– Amalie Bruun
