Mudvayne release a new single titled “Hurt People Hurt People”

Better late than never, and nobody knows this proverb better than us metalheads. “Hurt People Hurt People” is Mudvayne‘s first new single in sixteen years. As reported from theprp, Nick Raskulinecz (Deftones, Foo Fighters) produced that song, while Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God, Korn) mixed it. Additionally, it is the first release under the group’s most recent label, Alchemy Records, which festival promoter Danny Wimmer co-founded. Given that the wife of frontman Chad Gray previously stated that multiple new tracks have been mixed, this is most likely the first of many to follow.

I think I wrote this song as a reminder to myself to break the cycle. We create our own suffering, our own hurt. It’s time for us to create self-love and let go of the pain. It was never ours to begin with. Chad Gray
