Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard’s Stadium Tour earns millions

Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard‘s 2022 Stadium Tour sold 1.3 million tickets, according to Billboard. They earned $173.5 million. The tour also featured PoisonJoan Jett & the Blackhearts and Classless Act.

Recently, frontman Vince Neil revealed that they would take the tour internationally, returning to US stages in 2024. Neil also gave clues of a possible Las Vegas residency for the Crüe.

The two concerts at Fenway Park on August 5 and 6 and sold 64,000 tickets, earning $9.3 million. Four individual shows went above the $6 million threshold: Charlotte, North Carolina; Denver, Colorado; Glendale, Arizona; and Inglewood, California. The average earnings per night was $4.96 million.
