American metalcore outfit Miss May I from Troy, Ohio have shared the official music video for their latest single “Die On The Vine”. The track follows their previous release “Pray For Silence”, which dropped in August 2025.

According to the band, “Die On The Vine” captures what they call a mid life reckoning. The lyrics focus on how childhood experiences and unresolved trauma can shape who we become over time. However, the song does not stay stuck in reflection. Instead, it centers on the turning point where denial fades and self awareness takes over.

The band explains that once those patterns surface, a choice appears. You can let them weigh you down, or you can grow stronger through them. Because of that tension, the track frames survival as adaptation. Rather than letting damage define you, it pushes the idea of sharpening your thorns and learning how to stand firm.

The video adds another layer to the track’s message. It stars Jonathan Pawlowski, known for his roles in Lovecraft Country and Chad Powers. Meanwhile, Garrett Drake directed the clip, bringing experience from his work with Wolves At The Gate and Silent Planet.
