Michael Monroe: Finland concerts for this weekend postponed, due to Covid infections

Author Stefanie Nysand - 15.4.2022

The corona pandemic is not over yet, and, unfortunately, the band around former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe had to realise that, too:

“So we managed to get one show under our belts before everything went down the toilet. Sadly, a few members of our touring party have tested positive for Covid-19 and we’re forced to postpone this weekend’s shows. Needless to say we’re as disappointed as you are. We’re all currently isolating and next weekend’s shows (Helsinki, Tavastia 21.4. & Ikaalinen 22.4.) are still going ahead as planned.”

The Michael Monroe band played their first gig in over two years on last week’s Friday (8 April 2022) in Kouvola. It was the start of their Finland tour which was supposed to continue yesterday in Lahti, today in Hyvinkää and tomorrow in Tampere. The new dates for the shows in these cities can be seen below. Tickets and further information can be found here.
