Metallica’s ongoing “Life Burns Faster” residency at Sphere in Las Vegas drew some well-known visitors on November 5, with Céline Dion and Slash among those spotted at the concert.
Fan-filmed clips shared online show Dion standing in a suite and playing air bass along with the music as the thrash metal band performed. Slash, the Guns N’ Roses guitarist and solo artist, was also among the high-profile attendees reported to be at the show.
The moment offered an unexpected meeting of musical worlds in the audience, rather than an onstage collaboration. There has been no indication that either visitor performed with Metallica during the concert.
The November 5 appearance is part of Metallica’s Las Vegas Sphere engagement, which has also been the subject of a series of professionally filmed performance clips released by the band.
