Metallica have shared professionally filmed footage of “Leper Messiah” from their October 10, 2026 performance at Sphere in Las Vegas. The latest official video is part of the band’s ongoing Life Burns Faster residency.
Originally released on the band’s landmark 1986 album “Master of Puppets”, the song is accompanied by Sphere’s immersive, venue-scale visual production. Treatment Studio oversaw the visual effects for the performance.
The band have been releasing official clips from the Las Vegas shows, including footage of “Fade to Black” and “Lux Æterna“. The newly posted “Leper Messiah” performance offers another look at how the group is presenting material from across its catalogue in the venue.
Metallica are scheduled to return to Sphere on October 29, with additional residency performances planned through March 13, 2027, according to the band’s official tour calendar.
