Metallica: best metal ticket sales in the past forty years
Pollstar celebrates 40 years of tracking live shows with a list of the best-selling live artists of the past 40 years.
The best-seller of tickets were, of course, pioneers The Rolling Stones, with Bon Jovi at number 7 and Metallica, at 9th, the best-ranked metal band on the list.
Guns N’ Roses are at number 23 and AC/DC at 27. KISS are at 41st position, and Def Leppard follows at 42nd.
