Metallica announce Prong, Overkill, OTTTO, Bastardane, etc for ‘Takeover Events’

Metallica have announced “M72 Takeover Events” to take place around their various headlining shows this summer/fall. These events will happen on the Saturdays between Metallica‘s Friday and Sunday concerts in some cities.

The events will include sets from Metallica tribute acts (Damage Inc., Motorbreath and Sandman), mini-Metallica film festival screenings of ‘Cliff ‘Em All‘, ‘Cunning Stunts‘ and ‘Orgullo, Pasion, Y Gloria‘, as well as pre-show sets from Prong, Overkill and other bands in select cities. OTTTO and Bastardane, featuring the sons of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield respectively, will also appear throughout the run of shows.
