The Swedish modern power metallers Metalite have released a new single, entitled “Starchild“, along with a music video. You can check out the video below:
The music video was produced by Ted Lindén (“Bullsize Production”).
Metalite co-founder and guitarist Edwin Premberg comments on the new release as follows:
“‘Starchild’ is a key piece of the concept behind our upcoming album ‘Discovery.’ It’s a classic METALITE track, packed with high energy and soaring melodies but with some new influences. I wanted to create something heavier, a song that’s truly headbang-friendly with a chorus everyone will be singing along to.”

After “Our Time Has Come“, “Starchild” is the second single from Metalite‘s upcoming 5th studio album “Discovery” which will be released in autumn 2026. Metalite have also released a cinematic video trailer for “Discovery”, which you can check out below:
