Meredith Henderson of VCTMS releases first statement about recent allegations

On October 7th, Mike Joseph Clampitt, guitarist for VCTMS, announced his relinquishment of his position, asserting allegations of maladaptive conduct against drummer Meredith Henderson, as per lambgoat. This separation from the Illinois metalcore ensemble was accompanied by claims of unprofessional comportment.

In a statement concomitant with his exit, Clampitt detailed that Henderson frequently subjected band members and crew to verbal abuse and propelled projectiles. He further alleged instances of public denigration, obstruction of financial disbursements, and misappropriation of organizational funds. Crucially, these assertions have not received independent corroboration or substantiation through impartial inquiry. Their factual basis remains unverified at this juncture.

On October 8th, Henderson subsequently issued a preliminary communication via digital platforms. She conveyed her intention to undertake a period of assimilation regarding the unfolding situation before providing a comprehensive public statement.
