For their most recent single, “Your Ghost Again,” Mastodon has released a new live performance-themed music video, as per theprp. The movie was shot during the band’s summer tour of Europe and the UK. The director was Errick Easterday (Wage War, Boundaries). The aforementioned song was released at the beginning of June by the GRAMMY Award-winning progressive sludge metal band, who dedicated it in part to their late guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds. The song is thought to foreshadow the forthcoming arrival of the group’s ninth studio album, which will be their first-ever without Hinds. While release details for the record have yet to be announced, Mastodon will travel North America this fall with Deafheaven and Alcest.
