We reported on our website recently that Marilyn Manson, who has been the subject of numerous allegations of abuse, was seen as part of a church service led by rapper Kanye West. Manson prayed at the event alongside West and pop star Justin Bieber.

People magazine contacted Manson’s representative for comment on the involvement of Manson, real name Brian Warner, who has a history of blatantly opposing Christianity and the church, in the service.

However, the representative said Manson’s possible beliefs and convictions were “nobody’s business”. However, the spokesman said Manson was a “key figure” in the Sunday Service led by Mr West.

One of the people who publicly accused Manson, Ashley Morgan Smithline, commented on her feelings about Manson’s involvement in the West-led event:

“It makes everyone really fucking sick. This is just like being retraumatized. And it’s just showing the point that the world doesn’t really care if you rape and if you beat and hurt all these [women], you can do whatever you want, basically, if you have money and you’re a guy and you’re famous.”
