Many metal bands will be featured in the ‘Devil May Cry’ season 2 soundtrack

Similar to the first season, the second season of Netflix’s animated version of the video game series “Devil May Cry” has a number of metal songs, as per theprp. The 12-track album opens with Papa Roach‘s upcoming collaboration with rapper Hanumankind, which is set to make its premiere later this week. It should be noted that Power Glove, who have also provided music to this series, has remixed several of the songs from the early 2000s. Evanescence and lead singer Amy Lee’s return trips come after their previous collaboration on the first season of the series, which also featured a number of nü-metal favourites. On May 12th, Netflix will launch the second season of “Devil May Cry.”

Adi Shankar is the creator and showrunner of the adult animated urban fantasy action television series Devil May Cry, which is produced by Studio Mir. The series, which is based on the Japanese video game series of the same name by Capcom, follows Dante, a hired demon hunter, as he battles human soldier Mary Ann Arkham and tries to stop a demonic invasion of Earth planned by the White Rabbit. On April 3, 2025, the first season debuted on Netflix. The show got renewed for a second season, which will debut on May 12, 2026, one week after the first season’s premiere. Critics have usually given the series positive reviews.
