Lita Ford signs with Frontiers Music Srl, announces October 27 release for “Dracula” single

Guitarist and singer Lita Ford has signed with Frontiers Music Srl and set October 27, 2026, as the release date for her new single “Dracula”. The song will introduce the next chapter of her long-awaited studio album project, although a title and release date for the full record have yet to be announced.

The upcoming track was produced by guitarist Gary Hoey, who also performs on it alongside Ford and drummer Bobby Rock. Veteran producer Max Norman handled the mix. Hoey has also been involved in producing Ford’s forthcoming album, her first new studio full-length since 2012’s “Living Like A Runaway”.

In the announcement accompanying the deal, Ford described the record as a dark, fairytale-like project that had taken a long time to complete. She said finding the right partners was important to giving the music the release it deserved, and expressed enthusiasm about finally joining Frontiers.

Ford previously revealed that the album will feature a duet with Doro Pesch, alongside material involving songwriter and musician Jean Beauvoir. She has discussed the project for several years, with industry difficulties and scheduling contributing to its prolonged development. The album was also highlighted among Chaoszine’s anticipated releases for 2026.

Before her solo success, Ford came to prominence as a guitarist in The Runaways. Her later solo catalogue includes “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever”, the duet recorded with Ozzy Osbourne. For now, “Dracula” is the first confirmed release under the new deal; further album details remain forthcoming.
