Limp Bizkit is in the studio recording new material

Limp Bizkit has begun recording new material in the studio. The band shared a video on their Instagram story showing drummer John Otto recording drum tracks. The video also features narration from vocalist Fred Durst.

This is the band’s first new material since their 2021 comeback album “Still Sucks” and their single “Turn It Up, Bitch” released in July. The band enjoyed massive success during the nu metal golden era at the turn of the millennium. However, their popularity later declined significantly.

The band has managed to make a successful comeback in recent years, especially following their performance at the 2021 Lollapalooza festival. The genre’s growing popularity among young audiences has fueled the band’s resurgence.

While the band is working on new material and preparing for their European and UK tour, they are in the midst of a significant legal battle. Fred Durst has filed a $200 million lawsuit against UMG, alleging deceptive accounting practices by the record label.
