Limp Bizkit has cancelled the remaining dates of their summer tour with Spiritbox, which started 29 July. The band played only 3 out of 12 shows.

Without mentioning Covid-19 as the specific reason, the band made a statement on their social media shortly before their show 6 August in Asbury Park. The statement is as follows:

“Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans, the Limp Bizkit show this Monday and the remaining August tour is being cancelled. Refunds are available at their points of purchase. All tickets purchased online will be automatically refunded.”

Few moments after the cancellation statement rumors were spreading around that Limp Bizkit‘s guitar player Wes Borland had told some people that he was feeling sick before the Asbury Park show. The frontman Fred Durst posted an Instagram story saying that Borland does not have Covid-19, and Borland himself shared the message while adding that he’s vaccinated.

Limp Bizkit played recently at the Lollapalooza festival a recorded version of a new song called Dad Vibes” over the PA. You can listen to it below.
