Continuing to deliver the finest metal to the dedicated readers of Chaoszine.net, today we introduce Lashiva, a band hailing from Buenos Aires (Argentina) founded by bassist Max Zuccarino and guitarist Nano Puleio.
This Argentine six-piece unit emerged from the idea of uniting all the schools of metal and rock that have influenced its members from a professional standpoint and perspective. In this way, hints of nu-metal, metalcore, rapcore and other metal derivatives intertwine in the band’s sound.
Regarding these influences from which Lashiva draws and the objectives of the group, the outfit’s bassist says: “This is quite complex, and I guess it varies depending on who you ask. We are a multifaceted band because each member has different tastes, and I believe the common point is ‘metal.’ However, which side of metal we lean towards depends a lot on each individual (chuckles)”.
“Still, I think there is a common thread and a colour that brings us closer to nu metal. As for the band’s goal, the truth is that we want to make our music our career and livelihood. We aim to build our lives around the band and strive to act accordingly, giving our all in every show and every moment while knocking on every possible door to share what we love most: Lashiva“, Zuccarino comments.
They are currently showcasing their debut EP titled “Lashiva”, recorded by Gastón Balhas and Diego Boquete, produced by Max Zuccarino and Nano Puleio, and mixed and mastered by Gastón Balhas.
What is the message the Buenos Aires-based sextet is trying to convey? This is how the musician explains it: “The band always tries to reflect from personal experiences, a path of self-improvement and personal struggle against our own demons, demons that everyone carries inside and that we truly believe that by facing them from the heart and always being resilient, we can achieve great things… we try to inspire people to always fulfil their dreams”.
As for plans for the rest of 2024 and the coming months, Zuccarino points out: “We have 2 very important dates coming up, the first one is on November 15 at the Al Límite festival that will take place at Zadar Club in Buenos Aires and the second one is a date that we can’t announce yet but it will be a big New Year’s Eve party on December 28. Apart from that we have a single that will be presented soon and we are in the process of mixing what will be the new material,” he concludes.
Lashiva is made up of: Luca (vocals) Dami (vocals) Max (bass) Nano (guitars) Ima (guitars) and Santi (drums).
