Lars Ulrich says Metallica has new music in the works, but nothing coherent
During the pandemic, there has been talk of metal legends Metallica preparing a new album.
Drummer Lars Ulrich has spoken openly to the media about the new album, and according to him, it is not something to expect right away.
In a recent interview with Apple Music, Ulrich again echoes this sentiment, but opens up a bit more.
“[There’s] always new music coming. New music is what keeps us alive. There’s nothing cohesive. There’s not a story. There’s not really anything to back it up yet.”
The bands previous album “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct” was released in 2016.
