US nu-metal titans Korn are working on the follow-up to their 2022 album “Requiem”. According to guitarist Brian “Head” Welch in an interview with The Joe Kingdom Perspective, there’s “new music coming out next year. I don’t know. We’re kind of in hiding right now, just doing our own thing.
Ra Díaz is the group’s current bassist since Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu went on hiatus from Korn in 2021, and while he still played on Requiem, it’s unknown what the situation is now, almost two years later.
Fieldy released an update in October 2022, commenting that he and his Korn bandmates are on good terms, but they’re just in different places at the moment and have “no beef” with each other. The Bakersfield-born outfit hasn’t said much about Fieldy’s absence lately.
