Japanese metalcore act Knosis, led by ex-Crystal Lake frontman Ryo Kinoshita, have premiered a gripping new music video for their latest single “Dokunuma”. Directed by Yosh Morita of Hideout Studios, the video dives headfirst into themes of inner turmoil, perseverance, and transformation—matching the song’s crushing intensity.

“Dokunuma” (which translates to “poison swamp”) draws inspiration from the video game Elden Ring, reflecting Ryo’s fascination with enduring struggle in search of something meaningful. That metaphor is brought to life in the visuals, where murky, surreal scenes mirror the track’s relentless energy.

The song is featured on Knosis’ upcoming debut album “Genknosis”, set to arrive August 1st via SharpTone Records. The record includes previous singles like “Fuhai” featuring Hanabie’s Yukina and “Shinmon”, and showcases a bold fusion of metalcore, industrial and hardcore elements, all tied together with an apocalyptic edge.
