Knocked Loose - Provinssi - 2025

Knocked Loose just proved they are the hardest band on Earth (literally)

Author Benedetta Baldin - 31.5.2026

Opening for Metallica is one of the most sought-after opportunities in metal touring, as per theprp. In addition to attracting stadiums’ worth of potential new fans, the exposure that comes from sharing the stage with the most commercially successful band in the metal world also effectively passes the torch. The players behind “King Nothing” have a history of becoming kingmakers in that regard. The up-and-coming metalcore band Knocked Loose is among the musicians fortunate enough to receive that call for 2026. Without compromising their crushing heaviness, the Kentucky-based band has already earned a Grammy nomination and received invitations to perform at Coachella and other festivals.

Their ascension is further validated by this opportunity to open for them. But it appears that fate is working against Knocked Loose. Two days into the trek, frontman Bryan Garris was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, a typically transient ailment that causes facial paralysis and muscle weakness on one side of the face, as shown in the first episode of Knocked Loose‘s new web series documenting that run. Usually, a torn or enlarged muscle is the cause of such condition. During the journey, Garris started to feel numbness in the left side of his face and tongue. He went to the emergency room in Sofia, Bulgaria, to have it examined. The show must continue even if the doctor urged rest to prevent the condition from becoming permanent.

He has been gutting out the tour after receiving an initial steroidal treatment along with acupuncture. However, it has now been reported that Isaac Hale, the band’s guitarist and vocalist (also from Inclination, XweaponX, etc.), was struck by a car this week while on the same tour. It seems that he also plans to persevere, based on the social media post he made on May 29th disclosing the injury. Despite the difficulties, Knocked Loose hasn’t missed a performance yet, tearing through their engagements in Germany these days.

Thank you to everyone that checked out the new mini doc on the Knocked Loose YouTube channel and thank you to everyone that reached out about my sudden onset of Bells Palsy. I’m doing good, taking care of my self, and resting when I can. The show must go on. – Bryan Garris

Tour update got hit by a car yesterday felt bad but got this boba after and it was really good – Isaac Hale
