Kneel Before The Death release an epic, extreme new single “I, Eternal”

“I, Eternal” is Kneel Before The Death’s second release with Ranka Kustannus, following their November 2024 single “Rise”. The track builds on the bedrock of Helsinki, Finland-based KBTD’s epic and ‘aggressive’ style and sound—a tight guitar riff combines with insane blast beats, and a cherry on top: grand orchestral arrangements. 

The story of “I, Eternal” follows a person who is driven mad after being granted too much power, ultimately igniting a new reign of terror. This explosive single is mixed and mastered by Jonathan Dolese (Cane Hill) at KonKrete Studios in the U.S.

‘I, Eternal’ might be the most melodic piece that we have written so far. The track is built around the guitar lead of the chorus. The melody itself is somehow even peaceful, so we wanted to create absolute chaos around it – the epicness and violence are tones that we want to stand out in our music. Lyrically ‘I, Eternal’ is about madness after one gains unlimited power. Unleashing this newly found force like the great fire of Rome.

Kneel Before The Death is a four-piece extreme metal band founded in early 2013. During the early years, the band released three EPs that gained growing curiosity among the Finnish metalheads. After lineup changes and finding a new musical direction, the band returned to the metal scene in 2023 with the singles “Eternal Sleep” and “I Am The One”. They signed with Ranka Kustannus in late 2024 and are slated to release their first full-length album in Spring 2025.
