KISS caught using pre-recorded vocal tracks live

KISS fans who attended the first End of the Road tour a few years ago complained on social media that the band performed with pre-recorded vocal tracks and backing tapes. In 2015, bassist-vocalist Gene Simmons had called the use of backing tracks “dishonest”.

But now the rock legend has been caught using pre-recorded vocal tracks in concert. It turns out that there was a mistake in drummer Eric Singer’s playing and the band’s pyrotechnics, which confused the band.

Paul Stanley’s vocals come through the speakers at a time when the singer is not in front of the microphone. Stanley quickly turns his head towards the microphone when he realises this.
