Josh Klinghoffer, the former guitarist for Red Hot Chili Peppers, is being sued for wrongful death after running over and murdering a 47-year-old man with his automobile. The guitarist’s lawyer has replied to the complaint with a succinct statement. Ashley Sanchez, the victim’s daughter, filed the lawsuit in California. The victim’s name was Israel Sanchez. It claims that in March of this year, Sanchez was crossing a crosswalk in Alhambra, California, on his way to pick up groceries when he was struck and murdered by a black GMC SUV driven by Klinghoffer. According to the investigation, the guitarist failed to slow down or brake while making a left turn at the junction, as evidenced by the camera footage. It was also said that the SUV had no license plates.
According to the lawsuit, Sanchez died from blunt force trauma from the injuries he received in the collision. The story also states that Klinghoffer never apologized to Sanchez’s family or was arrested in connection with the accident; instead, he went on tour with Pearl Jam. Rolling Stone received a statement on the incident from Klinghoffer’s lawyer. The Sanchez family is suing Klinghoffer for damages, including pain and suffering, medical expenses, and legal fees.
This was a tragic accident. After which, Josh immediately pulled over, stopped the vehicle, called 911, and waited until police and the ambulance arrived. He is fully cooperating with the traffic investigation.

My dad was known for being a great chef, the most talented of his family, the greatest grandpa always full of love and joy. His life was taken by a careless act of a person who didn’t bother to look where he was driving. Ashley Sanchez
