John Smith Rock Festival 2023 featured a wide array of bands hailing from all over Scandinavia as well as the UK, with the likes of; the awe inspiring post-metal band Sólstafir, Swedish metal band The Halo Effect led by Mikael Stanne of Dark Tranquillity, Finnish melodic death metal band Omnium Gatherum and the British extreme metal sensation Cradle Of Filth.
