Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai reunite for G3 2024 Tour

Nearly three decades after the inaugural G3 Tour, event leader Joe Satriani has reunited with fellow G3 electric guitar virtuosos Steve Vai and Eric Johnson for a North American tour in 2024.

The tour kicks off on January 23, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona, hitting eleven cities before wrapping up with a pair of shows at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

G3 was originally conceived by Joe Satriani in 1995 as a guitar-centric tour. The first incarnation of the tour took place the following year in 1996, with Satriani joined by Eric Johnson and Steve Vai. Now, nearly 30 years later, the original 1996 lineup is reuniting for a journey in early 2024 that’s sure to blow everyone away.
