Steve Vai’s California mansion hits the market for $11.8 million

Legendary guitarist Steve Vai has offered his long-time residence in Encino, California for around $11.8 million, according to Robb Report, as per Blabbermouth. The 65-year-old artist paid $1.2 million for the Encino property thirty years ago. He and his wife Pia moved to San Diego’s Rancho Santa Fe neighbourhood in early 2025. The estate, which is located behind gates in the highly sought-after Music Row neighbourhood of Encino, was originally designed as a mid-century home and has since grown to over 10,000 square feet. It has five ensuite bedrooms, nine-foot ceilings, original poured-in-place terrazzo throughout the entry, foyer, and patios, and acacia wood flooring throughout, all of which are complemented by elegant finishes.
